I received a phone call from this number about my computer needed updates from Microsoft.It is the same guy who called from Dell telling me the computer is putting out errors. The person is some guy from India or one of those countries over in the middle east. They keep saying someone can hack into the computer and disable it. I have 4 computers and he could not tell me which one. I am not stupid and I finally hung up on him. The name that appeared in the caller ID is Rober Kossowski. Please beware.

Same here. Very persistent individual, but also not very credible. This guy had the temerity to call back after I hung up on him. Caution with this, it seems likely to me that the intent is to disable your security so that he can get into my system as he wanted me to start up my computer and he would "work me through" so-called needed changes.

woman said she was from Microsoft...immediately told her she was NOT, and that Microsoft would have NO reason to call me. She tried to talk over me, saying "she could prove it," so I had no choice but to tell her to "shut up," and to take my number out of their system. I get so many of these types of calls, even though my number is unlisted and on the National Do Not Call Registry. Just don't get it, but I do go online to my service provider and block these types of calls. Don't want to change my number...too many family members have it...many of them elderly.
